Client Overview: Our client, an accounting firm, is seeking a Print Production Specialist to join their team.

Role Overview : The Print Production Specialist is responsible for printing and finishing of deliverables, overseeing workload capacity, assigning work to print team based on skill sets, outsourcing work to print vendors, and quality control. Provides daily status updates on workload and jobs at risk to creative manager and conduct status meetings with team members and Traffic Coordinators, to discuss staffing, jobs at risk, rush work, overtime, equipment needs/outages, and technology issues.

Print Production Specialist Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily workflow and on time delivery of print teams in two locations.
• Continuously monitor the job queue, assessing capability and capacity, assigning work. leading print projects and providing cost estimates.
• Outsource print work, build and effectively maintaining print vendor relationships, including processing invoices in a timely manner.
• Print large complex projects and rush jobs, manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
• Provide Workfront print reports and status updates to creative manager on staffing, work volume.
• Monitor quality control process and ensure quality check lists are completed on every project before client delivery to ensure timely, quality deliverables.
• Serve as point person working with creative staff and clients, providing status updates, resolving service delivery issues, conducting debrief sessions and keeping manager informed throughout the process.
• Delete outdated print and finishing files on the hub.
• Perform all phases of project management including customer service, proper documentation, and effective communications, including projects using multiple CS resources.

Print Production Specialist Qualifications:

• 3-6+ years of print experience, handling high-profile, complex print projects.
• Two years of project coordination experience handling high profile, complex projects using sound judgement, evaluating and scheduling key project resources.
• Experience leading teams that exceed customer expectations and meets deadlines
• Advanced knowledge of all print equipment: copiers/printers, binding equipment, cutter, stapler
• Effective communication, interpersonal, information gathering, customer service and teaming skills
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat Pro and Workfront necessary to create and adjust print ready files.
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy and manage high level of workload with both large projects and rush jobs.
• Ability to work independently and take the lead on print projects.
• Ability to work in a role requiring frequent standing, moving and lifting of materials
