Patent Prosecution Associate – High-Tech Client Exposure | Houston, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex patent prosecution and counseling for high-tech clients

• Engage with engineers and developers on sophisticated technology issues

• Draft and analyze patent applications across various technical domains

• Provide strategic advice to clients on IP portfolio development and protection

• Interact regularly with partners and directly advise Fortune 500 tech clients

• Contribute to other intellectual property matters as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent prosecution and counseling

• Strong academic and technical background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, or computer science

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school

• Active U.S. Bar admission

• USPTO registration required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong ability to work independently and manage client relationships
