Job Description

The North America Stores Marketing team (NASM) is looking for a customer-obsessed Marketing Manager II with strong merchandising, organizational and analytical skills with a proven ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders.

You will be responsible for supporting our winter Holiday event (e.g., Christmas, Hanukkah, Thanksgiving, Diwali, NYE), the single greatest customer-facing event for NASM.

  • The ideal candidate is an innovative and organized marketer with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will lead in-depth analysis of consumer insight data, channel performance, onsite customer behavior data, and macro retail trends in order to allow NASM to achieve our event KPIs.
  • You will partner closely with our product and technical teams to automate our product collections and merchandising, driving our department goal to scale marketer efforts through machine learning (i.e., large language learning models and generative AI).
  • You will be the primary POC for Channel Marketing team, coordinating our efforts to scale our content strategy. You will organize our biweekly sync meetings, serving as a program manager to gain inputs from partner teams to show a consolidated performance update to leaders.
  • This role provides a great opportunity to make an outsized impact in a burgeoning space while collaborating closely with talented marketing, business and tech leaders to unlock cross-category discovery.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and drive mid-funnel and lower-funnel traffic plans for Holiday in partnership with Channel Marketing teams.
  • Act as the STL for product and technical teams to drive automation of product collections and merchandising.
  • Program manage the Q4 Bi-Weekly Leadership Syncs, including driving agenda and collecting inputs from stakeholders.
  • Identify areas for efficiency and process optimization across Holiday workstreams
  • Analyze event performance and identify areas for optimization in order to achieve all event KPIs (GMS, aOPS, page hits)
  • Monitor retail and consumer markets (both on e-commerce websites, news sites, and social media) to gauge trending topics and consumer sentiment
  • Coordinate with site merchandisers and channel owners to ensure creative assets go live on site on scheduled dates
  • Lead regular “walk the store” mechanisms to QA the Holiday Shop experience
  • Partner with Automated Collections team to ensure that Holiday collections are meeting event goals and expectations
  • Develop and own an issue tracker across channel teams, merchandisers and creative team members to trouble-shoot live event issues

Must have Skills:

  • Over 6 years of experience in cross-functional project management, successfully coordinating efforts across departments to achieve strategic objectives.
  • More than 6 years of Customer Insights
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, utilizing statistical tools and software to extract actionable insights and inform business decisions.
  • Extensive background (over 6 years) in market research and analysis, including competitive benchmarking, trend analysis, and identifying market opportunities.
