About the Role:

As PICKLETILE’s first full-time marketing hire, you will shape our brand voice and lead the development and execution of a content marketing strategy across multiple channels and customer segments—including developers, contractors, country clubs, hotels, racquet clubs, homeowners, and more. You’ll be responsible for telling the PICKLETILE™ story and elevating the stories of our customers, driving awareness and engagement across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, email, and live events.

This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing Series A company at the forefront of innovation. You’ll report directly to the founder/CEO and play a critical role in both high-level strategy and hands-on execution. Who we are looking for: 

You have a proven track record of growing and engaging audiences. You think like a founder, move fast, and leverage technology—especially AI—to maximize your output. 

  • 3+ years of marketing experience (ideally experience in content marketing and working on a brand from an early stage. Bonus if you have worked with our target audiences)
  • Articulate storyteller, must be able to both speak and write with passion and clarity
  • Experienced in content creation using Canva or similar design software
  • Deadline-driven - you can move fast to create high quality content in an evolving environment.
  • Experience working across a wide variety of marketing channels.
  • Excited about rolling up your sleeves to get things done
  • Strong intuition and understanding of what makes great creative
  • Some exposure to growth marketing, and sales enablement.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn Hubspot Marketing and CRM automation

What You’ll Do:

  • Write clear, compelling copy for customers and distributors
  • Manage social media presence
  • Spearhead distributor collateral and communications
  • Partner with sales to enable repeatable sales plays and collateral
  • Design simple, on-brand visuals
  • Build and optimize landing pages
  • Interview customers for insights
  • Oversee contractors running paid acquisition campaigns and SEO. 
  • Leverage AI to maximize all of the above
  • Work alongside Head of Operations to measure key metrics related to awareness, acquisition, and customer retention

You should feel comfortable performing the following functions: 

  • Content Marketing: Develop a content marketing plan and goals and execute against both. Developing marketing content that’s product, channel, and solution-specific. Define and refine the company’s narrative, ICP, target segmentation, and go-to-market strategy with laser precision. Crafting positioning, messaging, and storytelling that makes your product irresistible to our ICPs.
  • Market research and insights : Leverage competitive analysis and customer feedback.
  • Go-to-market strategy : Lead product launches and ongoing campaigns, ensuring your product’s value is understood
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Experience working with product, sales, customer support, and leadership to drive awareness, acquisition, and retention.
  • Analytics-driven: Ability to understand KPIs and iterate based on data.
  • Sales enablement: Create foundational materials and strategies that empower our sales team to close deals efficiently and “ride along” to drive continuous improvement and sharp competitive responses. Creating sales enablement materials and repeatable sales plays that actually move the needle.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow a brand following through content creation, email marketing, and social media.
  • Map current buyer journeys and develop a highly focused marketing strategy aimed at specific industries, such as sports facilities, real estate developers, and municipalities, identifying the most impactful areas for growth and engagement.
  • Lead the creation and execution of content efforts tailored to these industries. This includes case studies, white papers, blogs, webinars, and other targeted marketing materials that speak directly to the needs and pain points of industry-specific decision-makers.
  • Own the brand strategy and messaging for PICKLETILE™ within our targeted industries, ensuring that the company is positioned as the go-to solution for sound and wind mitigation. i.e. Develop content, brand assets, and experiences that wow our potential customers.
  • Create and operate new go-to-market strategies such as building out our “distributor network” of contractors, architects, developers, and affiliates (such as realtors) through ongoing education and nurture campaigns.
  • Perform market research to understand messaging effectiveness to evolve our brand and marketing touchpoints.
  • Oversee the execution of industry-specific marketing campaigns across digital, social, and other channels. This includes managing content calendars, content distribution, and tracking engagement.
