Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established company in the mortgage industry. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Auditor to support compliance and auditing functions within mortgage servicing and default processes.
Job Description:
This role involves reviewing foreclosure and bankruptcy procedures, verifying invoices, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage servicing and a strong ability to analyze and document audit findings.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct audits on foreclosure processes using internal systems.
Review bankruptcy documentation with a structured checklist approach.
Verify the accuracy of invoices and report discrepancies.
Communicate with clients via email and client portals.
Assemble and maintain audit documentation for compliance purposes.
Monitor system alerts and distribute tracking updates as necessary.
Maintain records of staff training and ensure compliance with annual requirements.
Adapt to evolving duties as training progresses.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in mortgage servicing or default management required.
Background in auditing is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interact with internal teams, external clients, and regulatory bodies.
Excellent organization and follow-up skills.
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
